Tarnok joins the offseason minor league contract. He has been working in the rotation at Triple-A Jacksonville. He didn’t get into the game in depth – he hasn’t worked more than five innings yet – but he has managed to make good interest rate production. Tarnok has an average run of 4.79 while hitting more than a quarter of his opponents. He averaged 95 mph on fastball with sliders, curves and speeds when swiped. Tarnok scored his best in the best start of the season, hitting six innings last weekend against members of Tampa Bay.
