Marlins choose left-handed Josh SimpsonTriple-A Jacksonville’s contract was first reported by Fish’s Isaac Azout and later confirmed by the club. In the corresponding transaction, right-handed Robinson Piña Is specified as an assignment. Azut noted that Simpson is likely to be selling this afternoon Eury Pérezhe will start the third time of the season and has not thrown more than four innings in the game. If Simpson does indeed compete today, he will make his debut in MLB.
