Mizuno adds new finishes to key models in Mizuno Pro and JPX Ranges – Golf News

Mizuno announced new finishing options in two core models in its current lineup: the JPX 925 Hot Metal Iron and the Mizuno Pro T-3 wedge.
These latest additions reflect Mizuno’s ongoing focus, preferences for players, craftsmanship and tailored performance.
Each new finish maintains the basic design philosophy and engineering integrity of the original model while providing golfers with sophisticated aesthetic choices to suit personal preferences and gaming environments.
JPX 925 Hot Metal: Black Ion, Revolutionary Iron
The JPX 925 hot metal iron is recognized for its fusion of distance, control and accessories versatility and can now be treated with outstanding black ion surface.
Hot Metal Design surrounds the nickel-chromide chassis in the 4-7 iron and has strategically placed tungsten weighted in the 4-7 iron, continuing to provide a high-start, high-speed platform with consistent faces.
The addition of black ion finishes provides new visual identity while maintaining the same trustworthy performance, reducing glare, and keeping the iron look consistent with the contours led by modern technology.
Mizuno Pro T-3: Stability reimagined in black
The Pro T-3 wedge is recognized for its fusion of forgiveness and sensation, commanding the black ion finish to return.
Its shallow cavity backs, combined with a longer head shape, improves stability and on a central strike, it is perfect for golfers seeking consistency without sacrificing skills.
The forging process, the groove structure (Quad Cut + Hydroflow Micro Grooves) and the copper base remain unchanged, ensuring that the T-3 continues to provide reliable spin and control in all conditions.
Three run-in options (S, M and C) support a variety of short gaming needs, while the dark finish provides a cleaner visual when set up, especially in bright light or firm turf conditions.

The third new color is the Mizuno Pro T-1 in denim copper, which will be available exclusively in the US, while the Black Ion’s JPX 925 hot metal will be seen in Europe, while the Mizuno Pro T-3 is black ion.
