Manchester United target Viktor Gyokerers threatens strike to force transfer

Athletic forward Viktor Gyokeres is reportedly preparing to strike unless the athletic honors are called the “gentleman’s agreement” which will allow his summer exit, according to records.

Gyökeres was frustrated after the movement reversed a promise, which was initially understood to have allowed around £60 million in action in his 2024-25 campaign.

Now, the Portuguese Giants will need £70 million for the 26-year-old attacker.

With this understanding now seemingly overlooked, the striker warned that he will never play for the club again unless the sport returns to the original terms.

Viktor Gyokeres impressed

In Lisbon, Gyokeres made a sensation in two years. 39 league goals and 8 assists helped win the Sports League title last semester, while he returned 54 goals in 52 games in all matches, including a Champions League hat trick against Manchester City.

His extraordinary form includes a succession of Primeira Liga top championship awards, making him one of Europe’s deadliest strikers.

United appears to be the leader, possibly taking advantage of the previous relationship between Gyokeres and his former sports manager Ruben Amorim, who now manages United.

This is expected to escalate quickly as negotiations break down and the Gyorks threaten to renegotiate strikes.

Manchester United is now ready and it is possible to quickly resolve the deal to prevent the deal from becoming too expensive or complicated.

If the Red Devils manage to trigger the Gentleman’s release clause, they can land one of Europe’s biggest strikers, although the drama probably won’t end without the conflict in Lisbon.

On the other hand, the Red Devils are also considering a move towards the new goalkeeper after the club’s Andre Onana continues to struggle.

Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka is on the radar of the Premier League Giants this summer.
