The injury dominated Mbumo from the African Cup of Nations in 2024, but he had six goals and two assists in 22 international matches, including one of each match against Libya in March and a 3-3 group match against Serbia in the 2022 World Cup football match.
Apart from Frank’s trip to Totterham, Brentford lost Captain Christian Norgaard to Arsenal and goalkeeper Mark Flekken, who moved to Bayer Leverkusen.
Why did Manchester United sign Bryan Mbeumo?
Among the teams outside the relegation zone, only Everton scored low in 44 league goals in 2024/25.
By the time Erik Ten was fired on October 28, United failed to score in four of their nine league games.
Successor Ruben Amorim could not significantly improve his destiny as they performed in the 1-0 Europa League final, hindered by the apparent lack of the forefront.
Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes scored eight goals as the league’s top scorer, while Amorim exiled former top scorer Marcus Rashford from the team and questioned the attitude of the England striker before lending Aston Villa.
Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund faced full criticism in a horrible season, scoring four in 32 league games, including 13 without goals.
Amorim has since signed Cunha, who last season’s Wolves signed for £62.5 million for 17 goals and 6 assists.
When will Manchester United’s 2025/26 Premier League season start?
The first round of the Premier League in 2025/26 will be on the weekend of August 16, 2025, including Sunday, August 17 at 16:30 BST visit from Arsenal.
Mbeumo scored for Brentford’s opening game at home at Arsenal on January 1, despite the Gunners’ 3-1 victory.
Manchester United’s 2024/25 runner-up will be performed live in the UK, with the Super and Main Events as the scene.
The final round of the season will all start on May 24, 2026. There will be no rounds between each other and there will be no matches on December 24.
