Hello friends, welcome to this week’s Rogers report and we’re excited to have the PGA and LPGA Tours this week in the lovely (but rainy) Northeast, but frustrated with no professional golfers at Met Gala on Monday night.
Last year, only two professional golfers participated in the 2013 Met Gala: Tiger Woods and Nelly Korda. I am real Hopefully Korda returns this year, or maybe see the dominant master champion on the red carpet, but no luck. in case FashionMy own Anna Wintour is a loyal reader of the Rogers report, and here is my plea: Please, invite some golfers in 2026. All I know is Jason Day, Charley Hull, would turn his head in Malbon.
OK, let's get started.
Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber may be a two-time Grammy winner, but in many ways he is like all men in his 30s: He posted seven Your own Instagram reel plays golf on weekends.
When I see a celebrity lifting his header online and accessing the USGA GHIN barrier app on my phone (if it hasn't been added to your routine social media scrolling, I do what I've been doing if you haven't added it to your daily social media reels yet), and I'm disappointed to see Bieber not getting into his score. I really want to know what he is shooting these days. Also, shouting at his all-white outfit, I don't think the vest will be allowed in many courses, but if you're Justin Bieber, maybe the rules don't apply.
Bryson DeChambeau even commented on one of Bieber’s golf reels, “Let’s shoot some golf content.” Hopefully there is “Breaking 50 with Justin Bieber” or Bieber Music Video, which includes the 2024 U.S. Open champion. It's better to be both.
Bryson returns in the winner's circle
Surprisingly, Bryson DeChambeau is back in the winner's circle.
The two-time U.S. Open champion won LIV South Korea with two, and he has a lot to say about his experience in Korea.
“It's an amazing place. The people are great. The food is great. The Korean barbecue is especially amazing. I'm not disappointed at all. Everything makes me feel comfortable and hope some of my people in Korea play golf and enjoy this great golf.
It sounds like I need to put Korean (and Korean BBQ) on my bucket list.
Jason Kelce seeks help from swing
In “Sometimes Celebrities Are Another Example of the rest of us,” Jason Kelce recently turned to Golf Reddit for some swing advice.
Although I don't have the proper certificate to provide swing feedback, I able Praise Kelce for doing this the right way: Avoid seeking swing feedback on golf Twitter at all costs. I saw sparks in the eyes of innocent beginner golfers after posting a swing video to X, so I was glad Kells didn't go that route. Golf Reddit seems to be a more vulnerable place (share your golf swing).

It's so fun to see people, especially celebrities and retired professional athletes. I'm lucky to witness Kyles' love for the game grows, and I absolutely love his setup. There are adult men everywhere who will kill people for such a backyard.

Also, I'm sorry for bragging, but a few weeks ago, I did chat with the Kelce Brothers at the Wynn Las Vegas invitational.
Never change, Jason. Unless it is your golf swing. This may improve, drive you crazy, get worse, and then improve again over the next few decades.
