West Ham will make permanent moves for French defender Jean-Clair Todibo after triggering obligations to buy terms.
The London club will pay £39 million to make the move permanent, a deal that will bring major surprises to Spanish club Barcelona.
Barcelona inserted a sales clause into his contract and when they let the player go, they will make £7.2 million after the player is permanently moved to West Ham.
Hammer Loan signed the players and they are obliged to keep the move permanent if they manage to avoid relegation.
However, the 25-year-old didn't perform best at the London club. West Ham may be willing to sell players in the summer and Manchester United are keeping his label.

The Red Devils may be willing to provide them with a profit of £10 million to complete the deal. Todibo can certainly attract the idea of joining one of the country’s largest clubs. Manchester United needs defensive reinforcements, and the French defender may be the ideal acquisition.
United lost 47 goals in 34 league games this season and if they want to fight for the trophy and return to the Champions League, they will have to tighten in that area on the court.
He entered the peak of his career and he might be their useful player. It would be interesting to see if United proposes a formal offer to sign a player.
The defender will hope to sort out his future this summer and focus on his football again. Whether West Ham decides to sell him immediately after a permanent signature remains to be seen.
