Manchester City is now watching £35million star hijackers, and Manchester United will also bid
Manchester City is now keen on the move to hijack Manchester United’s “incredible” player, and he will be listed for £35 million this summer, a report said.
Manchester City’s summer reconstruction continues
Pep Guardiola made major changes to his side this summer, with the Man City owner looking to take back the Premier League from Liverpool, and Phil Foden believes there is a need to rebuild after the disappointing 2024-25 campaign.
Foden said: “After last season, fresh legs were needed, and the new additions worked very well. They were already resolved very quickly,”
“We can all see their qualities in the club’s World Cup and the clubs that they bring to the team. We have a big team right now, but I think that certainly needs to. I look forward to connecting with players I love to play and really enjoy it.”
Indeed, Guardiola has a big team and joined Nico Gonzalez in the winter, with plenty of options in the middle of the park before introducing Tijjani Reijnders this summer.
But, according to a Takvim report, Man City is now keen to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara, who is also a target for Man United, and Red Devils will even offer formal offers for his services in the coming days.
Turkish clubs are reluctant to approve Sara’s departure this summer, but if the Premier League is in general, they will receive a €40 million (£35 million) offer, they may be tempted.
Leeds United, Wolf Hampton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, Everton and Aston Villa are also interested in the Brazilian, although Manchester United’s interest seems to be state-of-the-art and offers quotes.
“Incredible” Sarah can thrive in the Premier League
The 26-year-old has experience in England, and has performed well for Norwich City in the 2023-24 campaign, with 13 goals and 12 assists in 46 championship outings.
That season alone proved that the Master was ready to enter the Premier League, but he has since continued to prove himself in Turkey, with Galatasaray continuing to win the championship, amassing 11 league goals last season last season.
So Sara can thrive at the Etihad Stadium, although given that Guardiola is already well-stocked in the midfield, there are some questions about whether he will become a necessary signing for a human city.
