England international defender Trent Alexander-Arnold was awarded his Real Madrid in his match against Al Hilal at the FIFA Club World Cup today.
The 26-year-old was hoping to make a decisive performance for his new club when he debuted. However, in the first half of the club’s World Cup game, things did not go away.
He joined Real Madrid earlier this summer and he will seek to offer them major trophys next season.

Real Madrid debuted in a bad first half
Not only did he lose the most duels in Real Madrid in the first 45 minutes, but his poor position also led to goals in Saudi Arabian costumes. However, due to offside, the target was overturned. The former Liverpool defender lost his man, Renan Lodi converted from a tight angle.

Trent Alexander-Arnold needs defensive improvement
The 26-year-old has been severely criticized for his poor defensive performance during the Premier League. Whether he can improve in the coming months remains to be seen. Real Madrid will certainly expect their first-choice defender to perform better if they win the main trophy next season.
The England international is undoubtedly a great player, but if he wants to be sure he is one of the best players in the world, he needs to overcome the defensive problems. His past defensive mistakes have cost Liverpool valuable points.
That said, he remains an asset to any forward team and he will seek to help his team gain opportunities from the depths with accurate passes and vision.
