The 25-year-old star, who has been cited in the £50m region, has managed to score 20 goals in the Premier League this season but may face Newcastle United’s competition due to his signature.

The report claims the club is exploring potential reinforcements to strengthen the squad, and the future of Andre Onana is uncertain given his recent performance.

It also noted that Scott Parker kept a staggering 29 clean sheets in the championship last season, which is how much Scott Parker’s signature would require, but previous reports this year suggest that could be £30 million.

Why Trafford can be the next Sancho

Wenger Jadon Sancho reached £73m from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021, but it is safe to say his time at Old Trafford was a disaster.

The British has made 83 appearances for the club, with only 12 goals and has been sent to various loan spells, including back to the side where the Red Devils landed him.

However, the club can repeat Sancho in Trafford’s summer move, with the goalkeeper following a similar path in his career in recent years.

Both of them travel through Manchester City’s academy and then moved elsewhere to name, possibly causing a small fortune in the process.

While it is not clear what a deal for hierarchies for shooters this summer will be, they should avoid using better options.

Trafford was labeled “world-class” by current boss Parker, who was unable to better in many key areas during his last tenure in the Premier League’s goalkeeper Onana, and therefore even fell to second place in the pecking order.

While it is undeniable that new goalkeepers are required to be on the agenda this summer, Amorim and the board should explore other options that require a more experienced head between the two sticks.

Given the similarities between him and Sancho’s career path, this is the reason why they should be clear – considering financial constraints, there is a need to find value elsewhere.
