Man United offers bidding plans to Leipzig

Ruben Amorim and Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United reportedly made it clear to RB Leipzig that they plan to bid for Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko.

According to Fabrizio Romano in an article on X, Leipzig was told Man Utd is the Sesko plan, which also has a Newcastle United offer.

The Red Devils will surely see the competition for Sesko’s signature, and Newcastle’s advantage is being able to offer Champions League football next season, which remains to be seen.

Still, there is no decision, Romano explains in the post below that the 22-year-old striker will be choosing with United and Newcastle in the next few days…

“Manchester United informed RB Leipzig of plans to bid for Sesko … also showed players that he is now the top priority for the new striker. Sesko will decide in the next few days with the advice of Man United and Newcastle.”

Manchester United need a striker like Benjamin Cesco

Sesko looks like a young, talented young man, and the bleak campaign last semester could strengthen this unified aspect.

Ruben Amorim has had major problems with the attack and has been addressed by introducing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo so far this summer.

However, there is also a center, and Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have not had enough expressions at Old Trafford so far.

Should Sesko choose Man Utd or Newcastle?

United may need Sesko, but he may be better off choosing them now.

It has been a long time since MUFC returned to where they wanted to be, and Newcastle is arguably the more impressive project now.

Eddie Howe is building a top team at St James’ Park and it’s arguably more likely than Manchester United to play in the Champions League again next season and could also win another trophy after winning the Calaba Cup last semester.

Sesko should also be aware of how many players have seen their careers recently at Manchester United, with players like Jadon Sancho and Antony looking like top talents before joining, but then completely lost and hurting their profession.
