Man City signs £11m a year in negotiations, personal terms agreed
Manchester City reportedly failed again at Tottenham Hotspurs’ hands and now negotiations have begun to sign a large-scale giant for Guardiola.
Guardiola: Manchester City missed “simple stuff”
Whether it’s Ange Postecoglou, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte or other heads, Tottenham Hotspur remains one of the strangest common events in Premier League history.
Together, they won historic high notes while winning four consecutive league titles. However, when the Spurs came to town, citizens always endured an afternoon of forgetting. And, as ever, this weekend proved to be the case.
This time, Thomas Frank was in charge as North London Club hit the city on the counter and then enjoyed unexpected control to ensure a final 2-0 victory. At the end of Tottenham’s defeat again, Guardiola lamented that his team missed the “simple thing” for Lily White.
“This season’s game against the Spurs is full of establishment, and humans are like Brentford in the past. You have to play in different ways. We talked about that.
“We missed simple things. I never asked them to play great things. The first one was about running efforts, which has been extraordinary for years.
“I have no doubts. Last season, we didn’t achieve it, but in practice, we were really great. Under pressure, we missed simple things and then we created enough opportunities, but that happened, it was football.”
The second goal will particularly disappoint the Spaniard after the new signing James Trafford admitted possession in his own area before Joao Palhinha shot home.
While it will be the learning curve for young British people, and people like John Stones have suffered in the past, Man City reportedly is reluctant to let the same mistake happen twice.
Manchester City starts talking to sign Donalma
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City has now begun negotiations to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma after reaching personal terms with Italian.
Now, citizens are negotiating with the Paris Saint-Germain club, the deal is worth less than the initial €50 million (£43 million).
“Gigio Donnarumma has reached personal terms with Manchester City and is keen to join Pep Guardiola. Negotiations are also being held between Man City & PSG, with fees to be subject to the initial €50 million requirement. The deal remains dependent on Ederson’s exit this summer and remains sharp with Galatasaray.”
Donnarumma has said goodbye to PSG fans and will be held this month. However, ensuring your signature is still up to Ederson’s future.
The report shows that the Brazilian may have to go to Galatasaray, and the fact that he was replaced in Atihad shows that the move is very likely, but the Turkish clubs have traded for less than 10 days, which can make their deals available.
It’s not easy for Manchester City to replace one of the best goalkeepers in Premier League history, but the superstar reportedly earning £11m will immediately alleviate any concerns in Manchester.
