Golf Business News – The exciting Faldo Series Asian Finals

Vietnam's popular winning streak in the Faldo series Asian Finals showed no signs of slowing down, with Tuan Anh Nguyen becoming the latest local champion in the leading global junior event.

The 15-year-old from Ho Chi Minh City kept his nerves in the climax of the Asian leg in the late swing of the three-stroke late to cope with the fierce challenge of Jamin Park in South Korea.

Tuan Anh showed the steel nerve and youth confidence in the 54-hole stroke, recording rounds of 65, 70 and 70, totaling 205 for eight shots.

“I just tried to stay calm and focused,” Tuan Anh said. “Winning such a big event, especially in Vietnam, is a special feeling. It gives me a lot of faith.”

Tuan Anh is the third Vietnamese player to promote the Faldo Series title over the years, following Nguyen Duc Son in 2024 and Nguyen Anh Minh in 2023. His victory underscores the rapid development of Vietnamese teenage golf, an event itself becoming a symbol of this momentum. The performance of other local players throughout the week is excellent, and the emergence of the country's powerful force on regional golf courses looks increasingly assured.
