Wimbledon 2025 results: Jannik Sinner enters the second round, but Alexander Zverev

After he wasted two sets and three title points in a five-and-a-half-hour epic after his devastating defeat at Alcaraz in Paris, Sina announced his title as one of the SW19 titles.

Despite his time at Halle Open Cut Shat Shat Shand, he lost to Alexander Bublik in the second round, and he managed to make the show.

Nardi, 21, offered resistance in the first set and managed to escape the first five breakthrough points he faced – but not long after, the sinner asserted himself.

Eventually, he had a seventh chance to break through and took the first set, and the Sinners brought that momentum into the second game with a 3-0 lead.

As the game progresses, the gap between players becomes increasingly obvious, and Nardi cannot combine with Sinner’s pace, strength and the devastatingness of precise hits.

The second set lasted less than 40 minutes, while the third set hardly exceeded 20 minutes, as the Sinner won the victory with the third set paint.

Showing why he reached Wimbledon’s quarterfinals in at least the last three years, he finished with 28 winners, with just 17 unmandated mistakes.
