Lottie WOAD Women’s Scottish Open Champion Interview – Golf News

ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open Lottie WOAD champion received interview after first LPGA Tour

Q: Talk about your first major start and inserting it means to you.

I think it’s hard to do that, but winning in my first game was very special. You know, today everyone is chasing me and trying to stay ahead and do a lot of good shots in stretching and playing a lot of good shots, which is great.

16, 17, 18 What is the way of thinking in the last period of time?

I really don’t know most of the last nine points. To be honest, there is really no scoreboard. I only know that I was 18 or 17 years old and I saw that I had two shots. It was a bit assuming that she would be birds 18, but then found out that she didn’t. There are only 170, but they lie and stick out.

This week, you will never be under any real stress and you have never put yourself in a stressful situation. How impressive is that?

I mean, this may seem less stressful than sometimes, but I guess I only have three bogeys, and I mean, the first few days were pretty good. But on Links Golf, it’s definitely about avoiding bogey. That might be the key to winning.

You probably run into two wedges to build the bird, which is perfect. Has this always been the advantage of your game?

My wedge has always been a force, and usually my method can rely on it and control the rotation very well.

Tell us about Scott’s connection, the other day, your Granny and your aunt, I think, do they live in Scotland?

They live in Scotland. They are not Scots. They live in Edinburgh. So I’m a lot here.

Are you here today?

Yes, it’s great.

What are their names?

Sarah and Marian (laughter)…I don’t call them them.

I don’t want to live in the currency side, but obviously you have confiscated a sum of money in the past few aspects. Are you happy to check in the bank?

I don’t even know what the winner’s check is. But yes, I mean, a lot of people obviously talk about me not winning any money.

But I know that I won’t win any money in the first place. There is not much difference. Then I knew if I kept playing with my state, everything would be solved.

The transition from amateur to training can be very difficult. It’s still early, but for any advice for someone like Hannah, Hannah also hosted her first career event this week, Curtis Cup, how do you get close to it and what is your mindset throughout the process?

I think it’s great to just get experience. Prior to this, I participated in many professional and professional activities. So not everyone knows it. So, I think the more experience you give yourself, the better.

So, now go wave crests and ride to Wales? Looking forward to another AIG?

Just want to continue the momentum.

Porthcawl, have you played there?

I’ve played there once.

Has it been successful?

A few weeks ago, it was an exercise.

But, of course, you will get used to this high expectation. Are you just shrugging?

I’ve tried it, but it’s not always that easy. Just looking forward to it.

Why did grandma and aunt live in Scotland for Martin and Nick?

My aunt’s husband is Scots. So he is from Scotland (laughter).

I don’t know why she was rising. Maybe my aunt Sarah is her favorite child and she wants to get close to her.

Many players say they won in Game B. Do you feel like you are playing the best golf and, if not, when do you think you are?

I don’t think it’s in all four rounds, but I mean, it definitely feels good. I think it’s hard to tag what your A and B games are, but the first day was probably where I played the worst but scored pretty well. Honestly, yesterday, I probably played the best and didn’t score the best. So, it really depends.

Describes the July of golf, victory, ranked third in Evian, and then win.

Lottie Woad: Very good, yes. I really don’t know how to describe it. Just shot low scores, which is always good.

What are your emotions? How did you feel when you were 18?

I mean, I feel good 18 because I know my lead is a two-shot lead and hit an 80-yard layup and an 80-yard shot. So I was very confident to get there. The birds are always happy to finish. So just a two foot long person, it’s a nice length, yes, happy.

Is it a challenge to keep your appearance calm at an extraordinary and exciting moment like the one you’ve experienced today?

Don’t think too far is always a challenge. Sometimes, I just have to try to recall the next shot. But yes, just try to fix the next photo.

You told me last week that you need to buy a car in the US first for your first professional inspection. Have you considered which car? They said on the broadcast that you do not have a license. Do you have a license in the United States or in the United Kingdom?

Who gave them this information? I want to know. No, I need to take the exam and drive in the US. Yes, that’s the plan.

Do you have a car?

No.

How does today’s nerve compare to winning at Augusta?

Honestly, maybe less. I think Augusta, that was the biggest tournament I was at that time, and it was my huge win.

So, it definitely feels more stressful and I feel all these experiences have helped me.

How is the week at Dundonald, how do you enjoy playing classes, facilities and everything else?

Very good. Never been here before. The course is excellent, in good condition and is different every day in different wind directions. It was a great challenge and everyone here was very friendly.

Did you have a sleepless night in the game? Go to bed last night?

Sleep well (laughter).
