Los Angeles Kings defeat Utah Mammoth in Idaho – Hockey Writer – Los Angeles Kings

Idaho Central Arena is the preseasonal conflict between the Los Angeles King and the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday night.

Both the Mammoth and the Kings have a lineup filled with players who are the bubbles that make their respective NHL rosters. With just one week left before the regular season, these players can now showcase their talents and management to make tough final decisions.

Game review

As you would expect, in a game where so many players fight for their work, the pace of the game is high despite the intense start of the game. Halfway through the first stage, the Kings opened the score with Andrei Kuzmanco’s goal. Jeff Malott and Brandt Clarke assisted in the goal.

Although this is the only goal of the opening frame, both teams have the chance to add more. The King failed to convert two powerful opportunities in the frame, and the Mammoth could not score on some of the chances of artificial superiority, with half of the power playing extending to the second stage.

After failing to score on their other half of their power match to open the second stage, the Mammoth allowed another goal, allowing Andre Lee Rifle to shoot his wrist from the slot, defeating Karel Vermelka’s glove. This is also the first preseason in his second game.

However, it doesn’t take Mammoth time to respond. Four minutes later, Cameron Hebig, who played a lot of minutes in the game, broke the puck for the mammoth. Nick Desimone and Daniil, but it helps the goal.

But he didn’t finish there by his next shift, shooting his wrist from the top of the left circle to equalize the game 2-2, his second in less than two minutes.

The rest of the second phase remained unscored, and the mammoth dominated the hockey in the third phase. But the Kings finally got a clean break, which led to a goal from Taylor Ward. This is Ward’s third preseason goal.

After leading 3-2, they did not look back and continued to finish the game with a one-goal lead. With the victory, the Kings moved 4-1-0 in the preseason, while the Mammoth still had no victory.

The two will be paired again Thursday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
