Liverpool need a new defender this summer

Signing for Liverpool this summer may be crucial as some of their players are uncertain.

Ibrahima Konate has entered the final year of his club contract and will be a free agent in 2026.

There is no consensus on a new deal between the French defender and the Premier League champion.

Another Liverpool centre-back who can leave the club is Jarrel Quansah. The young defender has admirers in Bayer Leverkusen and his departure could make Liverpool’s central defender position.

Joe Gomez’s future at Anfield is also unresolved as the defender hopes to leave the club in order to get more first teams.

This has left Liverpool searching for a new Central defender who can be part of Arne Slot next season.
