Liverpool weighs the move as a £68m superstar

Everyone in football fans is ruined by the tragic passes of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva. We are sending thoughts and prayers to their friends, family, teammates and loved ones.
Liverpool’s rivals will only get stronger after Arne Slot’s debut season in England, bringing his new club to the Premier League title and comfortably.
However, the Reds strengthened the defensive side with the addition of Jeremia Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, and also signed German organizer Florian Wirtz for £100 million, which could increase to £116 million for British records, plus additional composition.
But Darwin Nunez was proposed after a campaign, which was insufficient, and has only once in the top flight since Boxing Day.
And now, despite Liverpool’s call a month ago, Luis Diaz’s future in Merseyside has been further doubted.
Luis Diaz’s latest in Liverpool future
Liverpool will expect Barcelona to take a new approach against Diaz, 28, who is about to worry about the recent year of contract in his £55,000 per week.
Additionally, BILD reportedly has agreed to personal terms with the multi-purpose forward and is expected to follow a formal bid.
In 2024/25, Diaz enjoyed his most productive season on Liverpool shirts, scoring 17 goals and 8 assists in all games.
Jurgen Klopp called him “incredible talent” after his 2022 red debut, and SLOT’s coach took his game to a higher level.
If Diaz does leave – FSG needs a big number to acquiesce his sale – Liverpool will need to sign a replacement for competing with Cody Gakpo on the left. They seem to be in line.
Premier League star Liverpool plans to hijack
According to independent Miguel Delaney, Liverpool are considering bidding for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, although Arsenal is a favorite to sign offensive midfielders.
Eze, 27, has a “long-term interest” in Anfield, and Delaney believes that if Diaz is sold, what needs to happen if recent developments are needed.
There are £68 million in his contract issue terms, and the three Lions stars certainly won’t be cheap. However, he has been tracked for a while and may prove to be the perfect replacement for non-commissioned Diaz.
Eberechi Eze will bring to Liverpool
Ez is not a knockout winger. His speed and dynamic physicality both give him speed, and he is often regarded as the tenth mobile phone number by expert Pundit Micah Richards.
However, since Wirtz has signed and is able to move from wide berths to central berths in a relaxed style, Liverpool can compete with goal-centric Gakpo by being involved in the Premier League’s talents, thus achieving blind results.
After Eze scored a win in Manchester’s extraordinary FA Cup final in May, Eze certainly has a big game that can succeed at Liverpool in Slot, improving annually after leaving the Queen Park Rangers.

According to FBREF, Eze completed the 2024/25 Premier League match, ranking 6% of the top 6% of offensive midfielders and wingers, creating the top 11% of shooting moves, the top 10% of successful breakups, and the top 14% of every 90 ball recovery.
How about Diaz? The South American player is more prolific, ranking in the top 4% of goals per 90 points, but is also the top 18% of shooting moves, the top 17% of successful breakups, and the top 47% of recycled balls per 90.
The player will successfully take over when he or she keeps possession by directly defeating them.
Diaz then kind of reserved in his athletic output. Oh, his pace, strength and energy levels, but the undeniable Eze creates more responsibility in making things happen in the last third, which can be extremely exploited through Liverpool’s Slot.
The dynamic midfielder’s duty as the Eagle makes him more important than his natural abilities. He took his root qualities and cultivated a growth that blends all natural abilities with a tenacious mindset and hopes to see his name crawl in the headlines.
Analyst Ben Mattinson was described as a “superstar” and the English talent reached his peak, which he was proven last season. He proved that he had the tools to perfectly replace players like Diaz. After all, he won 25 goals throughout the campaign, just like his Liverpool counterparts.
But Ez is not only a prolific threat, but he is not all creative. Sofascore records that team feet averaged 4.6 finals and 1.1 tackles, which also kept it vulnerable with an 82% pass completion rate.
Eze never proved he could hit the kind of shot Diaz made at Liverpool last year, but the Colombians were then settled in fluent and mean clothing, one of the best on the continent.
Is such steps really the accurate representation of their respective forwards? After all, Eze has scored 14 goals in his recent campaign, just three behind.
Both are great players anyway, and if Diaz does leave Germany or Spain, Liverpool will be much worse than signing the Premier League sensation at Ez. Having said that, can Premier League champions do better?
