Diaz is seen as a key member of the Liverpool setup and a key part of the club program under manager Arne Slot.

His ability to play big, defensively contributed in the media and added creativity in the last third, leaving him a Liverpool player reluctant to lose as they prepare to defend the Premier League title and compete for the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, Bayern will now be forced to explore their search for alternative options for wingers and try to test Liverpool’s determination firmly.
