Umbro works with Danish designer Stine Goya to produce unique kit collections

Umbro is never a brand that acts according to the rules.
From their classic 1990s-collared Premier League shirts to bold trench coats adorned with geometric patterns that most brands avoid, the British sportswear giant has earned a reputation for challenging routines and often brings iconic results.
Their latest collaboration with Danish fashion innovator Stine Goya continues this innovative legacy.
Inspired by the fusion of British and Scandinavian streetwear, the collection blends the classic Umbro football outline with Goya’s vibrant and expressive aesthetics. It revisits nostalgic 90s and early 2000s shapes and is reinvented with a bold palette, unexpected fabric pairing and unique custom patches.
Equipped with seven pieces – including T-shirts, long-sleeved tops, skirts, mini skirts, windbreakers, pants and socks – the collection redefines sportswear by presenting a fresh feminine perspective.
The event focuses on Denmark – Afghan football coach Nagin Ravand is committed to breaking barriers and reshaping women and girls’ representation in football matches.
The highlighted feature throughout the series is “good stuff shouldn’t take time”, which underscores the urgent need to achieve equality faster on and off the court.
Ravand, like the series, embodies a seamless blend of functionality and femininity – making this collaboration more than just a fashion statement, but a meaningful call to action.
The series will be launched on May 28, 2025 and will be available at select retailers and online.
