Matthew Schaefer signs his entry-level contract
Hockey Pedia: The New York Islanders signed a three-year entry-level contract for 2025 first draft pick Matthew Schaefer with a salary cap of $975,000 and an AAV of $44.75 billion.
His NHL salary is $877,500, which is a $97,500 signing bonus, with a “A” bonus of up to $1 million and a “B” bonus of up to $2.5 million.
