Leeds signs AC Milan’s Okafor

Noah Okafor claims leaving AC Milan was a “easy decision” after signing a four-year contract on Elland Road this morning.
Swiss International joined Leeds for £17.3 million and became their ninth signing in the summer.
Okafor appeared in Basel before joining RB Salzburg in January 2020. RB Salzburg, who moved to Milan, saw him struggling during regular match times, but he won a winner’s medal last season due to his four appearances at Antonio Conte’s man.
Naples rejected the option to trade the deal permanently, but Leeds had no doubts and moved the 25-year-old away.
Okafor excitedly starts Premier League adventure
“I think it’s a great day and I’m really excited,” Okafor told LUTV.
“As a kid, I dreamed of playing in the Premier League. That’s why it was an easy decision.
“So I said, yes, my football is suitable for the Premier League, and it’s like a dream come true. I can’t wait to step onto the court.
“I heard that the Premier League is the best league in the world and it is so intense. I have a lot of friends playing there or playing there.
“I’m really excited. I can’t wait, like I said before. I’m ready to deal with this new challenge, too.”
Leeds beat Everton 1-0 on Monday night in a 1-0 victory over Everton in Lukas Nmecha’s controversial late fine.
