Leeds pushes for signing ‘dangerous’ star £19 million

Leeds United have plenty of time to dip into the summer transfer window before a season in the Premier League to strengthen their options.
Whites know that they will have to recruit well to avoid the decline in the first year before the year, as the rise in the last six areas is directly downward.
One player who appears to have not traveled to Elland Road this summer, though, is winger manor Solomon, who loaned the 2024/25 season in West Yorkshire.
Reporter Graeme Bailey told the training room: “I was told that Solomon still thought he could break into Tottenham’s first team. He gained a lot of confidence from Leeds’ spell and now feels completely adapted to British football. He is a very interesting option. He is a very interesting option, a Spurs like him and ready to let him prove himself in the expected expectations.”
Solomon has provided Leeds with 12 goals and ten assists in the championship game this season to help them reach the league title, an update that shows he won’t be permanently joined.
Joe Rothwell is another Premier League player on loan on Elland Road in the 2024/25 campaign, and the club should not want to bring him back.
Why shouldn’t Leeds sign Joe Roswell
Whites should look elsewhere in the transfer market, rather than trying to bring the British back from Bournemouth because he is not suitable for the Premier League body.
Rothwell arrived in West Yorkshire to provide valuable backup for Daniel Farke’s midfield position in the 2024/25 campaign, which is exactly what he did.

As you can see in the table above, the 30-year-old master offers a reliable presence at his feet, completing his 91% attempted passes and having the ability to help his teammates.
But when Leeds fights the Premier League relegation next season, they will need different attributes, which is why the club should avoid the trade bringing him back.
In the 2023/24 Premier League season, Roswell lost 53% of his overall duel in 11 games, Bournemouth lost matches for 100% of the aerial battle at Bournemouth, and was dribbled six times in three games.
This shows that he doesn’t have the physical attributes he needs to thrive in top flight, so why Cherries chose to lend him to the second level, and Leeds is now associated with a star, which would be a huge upgrade at the position.
Leeds pushes to sign Premier League stars
According to France, Leeds United has set West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek as the target for the summer transfer window.
The report shows that West Yorkshire clothing is now “working” to bring Czech International to Elland Road to strengthen the choice of the park’s middle manager.
The former Slavia Prague star is said to have a chance to leave the Hammer this summer, and whites are looking to potentially exploit that.
Leeds added the 30-year-old Titan to their target list and appears to be coming up with a deal for the midfield as they are “working” for him.
The report further claims that champions are looking for experienced options to strengthen their efforts in the Premier League, and that Soucek ($19 million transferred by football) is a player who is well suited to the bill.
Why should Leeds sign Soucek as Rothwell upgrade
So far, the midfield star has made 194 appearances in the Premier League in his career and 245 appearances for the club in all competitions.
This shows that Soucek is an experienced player who has proven that he can maintain a consistent basis at the highest level in England, which shows how long his career at London Stadium has been, and that is not the case with Rothwell.
Soucek is also a Premier League shot, returning 36 goals in his top career, and Rothwell (also 30) has never scored at this level either.
Sky Sports commentator Andy Hinchcliffe described him as the most “dangerous” player in the clip above as he scored one of nine Premier League goals against Wolves this season against Wolves in December.

As you can see in the table above, Soucek also offers a physical level that Rothwell won’t, as he won the duel at an effective speed and is especially impressive in the air.
As mentioned earlier, Roswell did not win a single air battle in the Premier League for Bournemouth in the 2023/24 season, suggesting that from an aerial perspective, the West Ham Star will be a major upgrade for him.
Soucek will add a grand physical form to the Leeds midfield, where he has the ability to win duels and play in the air, while the Bournemouth lender seems to be a fragile option in the top game.
So hopefully Leeds will win the Czech International this summer as a huge upgrade for Roswell in the middle of the park as he is a long-standing Premier League performer who can provide goals and bodies.

Leeds since Raphinha
Leeds United can get the best and largest signing since Raphinha by bringing the star to Elland Road.
Given that Cherry Wanderers have not proven themselves in top flight and do not have enough body to perform weekly cycles at this level, that’s why avoiding a deal in pursuit of Soucek is a great move for the whites.
