Leeds ‘pushed’ to complete ‘points’ deal with £26million star

Leeds United prepares for their opening match in Everton vs Everton on Elland Road in less than two weeks.
It will be the club’s first game in more than two years since they beat West Yorkshire’s Tottenham 4-1 under Sam Allardyce’s management at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Daniel Farke will now hope to be more important than Sam Allardyce or Javi Gracia as the German head coach tries to guide the team safety.
The white boss will want to choose more options at the top of the court, as Lukas Nmecha is currently the only offensive player added to the team in the summer transfer window.
As you can see in the quote above, Farke made it clear that the club needs to introduce more attackers, including replacing the estate Solomon.
Champions should also be looking for an increase in ninth place votes, as it remains to be seen whether Joel Piroe has the ability to improve the measure.
Leeds has questions about Joel Piroe’s Premier League abilities
Back in May, football insiders reported that Leeds would not be conducting Premier League attacks around the Dutch as they were doubtful about his suitability for top flights.
The media said that due to their doubts, whites have no plans to make the former Swansea shooter the ninth choice for the 2025/26 campaign.
It seems like the club’s weird stance to win 19 goals in the Leeds championship last season, but it makes sense.
The whites won the league with a score of 100 points and totally dominate the second floor, meaning they were able to carry forwards like Piro, who didn’t offer much to the team from a physical point of view.
However, his lack of action and strength in the Premier League could lead to ninth-place issues as Leeds will fight relegation rather than dominating the game.

As you can see in the table above, the duel against opposition players is too weak and ranks lower among peers in many physical metrics.
Leeds pushes to sign Serie A striker
Piro reportedly lacks physically, which may be why the champions are focusing on new centers.
According to journalist Sebastien Vidal, Leeds United are “pushing” a deal to sign the Italian side from Montenegro International Nikola Krstovic.
The 25-year-old shooter was given a “green light” in pursuit of clothes traveling from Serie A this summer, which opened the door to a potential transfer to Elland Road.
Vidal added that the former Red Star Belgrade shooter scorer was “high” on Farke’s list of offensive reinforcements and the club is now working to reach a deal for the striker.
LECCE reportedly valued at about £26m to the center, although it remains to be seen how much Leeds is willing to pay for his service.
Why should Leeds sign Nikola Kelstovic
The white guy should sign ninth in Serie A as he will be a big upgrade for Joel Piroe, leading the Premier League curtain shooter against Everton.
Unlike Leeds’ current forward, Kelstovic has proven his quality in one of Europe’s major leagues with Lecce’s performance over the past two seasons, proving that he can score at an impressive pace.
The £26 million striker made a 37 assists in Serie A during the 2024/25 campaign, which was a very considerable return, a return of a player in a team with relegation and was successfully noted, notable.
Krstovic’s contribution to the high end of the court allowed Lecce to finish 17th in the division, above the bottom three, indicating that he could strengthen and achieve key goals to help the team participate in the relegation battle.
In addition to his potential to score 21 goals in the past two seasons, his Serie A star will also be physically on the way, a major upgrade to the Piroe.

As you can see in the table above, the LECCE Center forward ranks above average in most physical indicators that Piroe ranks worst in the championship game.
Krstovic, known as “points” by former boss Roberto D’Aversa, is a strong ninth who can keep his game on the game and on the ball, providing a strong outlet for his team.
This means he will be more useful to Farke as a Premier League starter, as Leeds is likely to be fighting the decline and need a striker who can provide relief by winning fouls and duels, which is not Piroe’s strong point.
So Kelstovic might be the ideal signature for white people to enter, because before Piro, there were mature shooters and body presences in Ninerole’s numbers.
