Leeds is close to £18,000 per week and he scores in Europa League
Despite their several reinforcements, Leeds United reportedly took a way to sign an offensive quota, which he scored in the Europa League earlier this summer.
Fark: Leeds is not “preparing for Premier League”
Like Sunderland, Leeds also has a lot of intentions to return to the Premier League. Whites immediately turned to the transfer window this summer, welcomed Sean Longstaff, Jaka Bijol, Lucas Perri and four others, among others, trying to build an aspect that is ready to avoid instant downgrades.
However, the task is easier said than done, and Daniel Farke has admitted that his frontline still lacks Premier League quality after a friendly draw against Villarreal.
“We know that in the offense, we are not ready for the Premier League level. We have proven that we can prepare for a game and now I’m not too worried about it.
“I know especially the offense, and at the end you can add some quality. Of course, as a manager, you want to have all the players available on the first day of the preseason and have to train with them because they need to adapt to the group and principles.
“The shorter the time is to the first game, the harder it is to integrate them and get them fully ready and reach speed. Because we still have time. We know we need to join.
“I also know that we are together, and the key figures responsible for spending money are doing everything they can to make these increase.
When it comes to offense, it’s been a frustrating summer so far for people on Elland Road. People like Beto and Rodrigo Muniz threaten to steal headlines, but at this stage, these two impressive forward deals are unlikely. At the same time, Leeds and the 49ers also made a way to sign the former Premier League winger in advance.
Leeds approaches Moussa Djenepo
As reported by the African Foot, Leeds approached Moussa Djenepo earlier this summer, hoping to dive and sign the standard Leach winger, who earned about £18,000 a week.
In the end, however, this approach proved unsuccessful, and the former Southampton man remained the standard Liege player. Whether this would be interesting as whites become increasingly eager to strengthen their offense, but then it is possible that they will have to compete with Saudi Arabia and Iranian clubs for Djenepo’s signature.
Djenepo is sure to vote for Premier League experience, having previously enjoyed a spell in Southampton for four years and even impressed on the Europa League stage in the past – Standard Liege of the past – scored three goals in five matches.
However, the 27-year-old looks to be a missed target on Elland Road, and Farke and the 49ers are aiming to turn Leeds’ offense into one of the Premier League quality.
