Spurs have “make some calls” to sign £60m Arsenal fans

Tottenham Hotspurs has split up with numerous top forwards over the past few years, and they have been producing goods continuously during their time at the club.

Harry Kane traveled through the youth level in north London and ended up making more than 400 appearances for the Lilywhites – the Nets scored 280 goals – the highest individual in their history.

However, he will leave one side in the summer of 2023 and leave with German costume Bayern Munich for £82m – despite his departure, his legacy will remain intact.

Heung-Min’s son is another new ranch, joining LAFC this summer, ending his decade-long spell in the capital, which allowed him and Kane to break the record for the most combined goals between two players in Premier League history (47).

It is nearly impossible to lose such talent to make them replace them, but new boss Thomas Frank continues to pursue enhanced reinforcements before his first season.

This summer, the latest new hunting attacker about the Spurs

Savignho has been one of the Spurs’ biggest targets over the past few weeks, with the hierarchy even submitting a £60 million bid in an attempt to land on the Manchester City winger.

Such a proposal was rejected and further negotiations were conducted, but it seems unlikely to move to North London now, while Guardiola’s side hopes to master him by Monday’s deadline.

However, another name in recent days has entered the mix in recent days, with Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo reappearing on their shortlist, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

He recently claimed that a deal by Lily White “called Cherry some phone calls” to a Ghanaian, who signed a new contract earlier this summer.

Romano also said Frank’s side has raised their interest in the “last 24 hours” but must pay up to £60 million for the 25-year-old, who has scored twice in 2025/26.

Why the Spurs’ latest goal is like Ez

The Spurs’ pursuit of a new striker is a summer process, with many players appearing on the radar frequently – including Eberechi Eze’s move to the junior club in Arsenal.

Lilywhites had constant discussions with Crystal Palace to reach an agreement with England International, which led to an agreement between the two parties.

But given that the Spurs were unable to close other deals this summer, it was a surprise that no one saw a deal failing to cross the line, and Lily’s white North London rivals surged in the 11th hour.

The 27-year-old joined Mikel Arteta for £67.5 million, including add-ons, and then made great sense to Frank’s ambitions to raise his frontlines, confirmed last weekend.

Such a blow could be mitigated, especially if Semenyo’s deal was completed by Monday’s transfer deadline, and the striker has many similarities with Eze.

He spent his last two and a half years on energy, joining the champion team Bristol City’s Cherries – just like Eze, when he was tied to the QPR’s Eagles in the summer of 2020.

However, despite their similarities, Semenyo, who is also an Arsenal fan, has surpassed his performance in many key areas of the previous campaign – in 2025/26, his frontline has a versatile option.

Last season, the Ghanaian achieved higher standard of shooting accuracy in the Premier League, a counter that could provide the new boss with the added ammunition he longed for in the last third.

Semenyo’s goal-scoring ability is one thing, but he also demonstrates his excellent skills to slip past opponents – completing more formalities than Eze, and carrying more than twice the number of opponents’ boxes per 90 votes.

Such numbers will put him under a blow from his supporters, able to create opportunities for himself before shooting home and strengthening an already effective offense on one side.

However, he was also able to become a provider, with more passes to the opponent’s box every 90 games, as such statistics give people like Richarlison the chance to start with their impressive starts to 2025/26.

Semenyo-Bournemouth

£60 million would be a huge sum of money for a new attacker, but it could be a bargain if the striker could take his game to a new level in north London.

Missing Eze’s signature, especially with their main competitors, would be a painful blow, but it could be a blessing in disguise if Semenyo’s deal could be reached.
