Today, Arsenal defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of the European Champions League semi-finals.

The Gunners will be very disappointed with the failure of the first round and it is interesting whether they can turn things around in the second round.

Arsenal has recently missed Liverpool’s Premier League title and they will not want to collapse. The lack of quality strikers this season has cost them a huge price, and the lack of clinical finishers tonight is their problem.

Leandro Trossard was given the opportunity to lead Arsenal against PSG, but the Belgian attackers performed disappointingly. Not only did he missed a great opportunity to score goals for his team, but his overall performance was incredible.

The 30-year-old attacker lost 14 goals and failed to create any huge opportunity for his teammates. His death was also willful, with an accuracy of only 67%.

It’s no secret that Arsenal needs a quality attacker, and Belgium’s performance shows that they need to upgrade in the summer if they take it seriously to win the main trophy. There is no doubt that the 30-year-old has been a useful player for Arsenal since joining, but he simply isn't enough to start a team looking to win a Premier League title or Champions League.

The Belgian is very effective as a squad player and Arsenal must limit his role to that. They need a clinical goal scorer in the summer, and it remains to be seen whether they can insert side weaknesses in the summer transfer window.
