Kylian Mbappe enjoys downtime with F1 & NBA stars to compete in the Monaco Grand Prix

Real Madrid may not have the 2024/25 campaign they hoped for – in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup, all of which played for Barcelona’s fierce rivals – but for Kylian Mbappe, it’s a debut season remembered in Santiago Bernabeu.
After a slow start, Real Madrid’s star striker found his pace and ended the season with an astonishing 42 goals in all games. This stat not only breaks the long-term record of most goals in Iván Zamorano’s debut season with the club, but also wins Mbappe, his first ever European Golden Shoe.
With the season behind him now, the 26-year-old took some time off and recently returned to a familiar setting: Monaco, where he watched the Monaco Grand Prix.
The day after the race, Mbappe was found socializing with Grand Prix-winning F1 driver Lando Norris and NBA star Jimmy Butler, and took photos with both.
Butler is one of several NBA stars – with someone like LeBron James, who is passionate about football. In fact, the Golden State Warriors star is also a loyal fan of Mbappe himself.
Back in January 2021, Butler appeared in GQ Sports’ “Actually Me” and he answered fan questions on social media undercover online. In response to a tweet, he shared a photo of himself playing football, and a fan asked: “What club do you want to be in?”
Butler replied: “I would definitely say PSG. I guess if I were with Mbappe [and] The greatest thing I’ve ever done at Neymar Jr. is that I feel they’ll make me look like I really know what I’m doing on the court. ”
He joked, “It’s a fight. I mean, Neymar and I headed to whom we wore 10 people. I don’t know. But PSG! That’s how I’m going.”
Fast forward the past weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix, and Butler finally faces face to face with the guys he once played with, a full moment for MBAPPE one of the biggest fans in the NBA.
