Officially open

On October 1, McLemore proudly unveiled the reservation, officially ending its preview phase and opening classes to members and guests at the resort. Courses above the cloud

Keep has been regarded as one of the country’s most impressive new designs, embodying the spirit of Mountaintop Golf. The 72-pole route extends over 7,700 yards on five sets of T-shirts and shows five extraordinary cliff holes that ignore McLemore Cove. Each hole offers not only a challenge, but also awesome moments, reminding players that golf has as many views as the game here.

The architect’s vision

“It has caught the imagination of golfers since it announced two years ago,” said Duane Horton, president of McLemore developer Scenic Land Company. “The course is the result of years of dedication and guests from all over the world are now welcome to see it firsthand.”

For architect Bill Bergin, the design is about commemorating the land: “The site offers rare drama and natural beauty. Our goal is to design a course that tests every golfer while creating moments along the cliffs and valleys that are memorable.”

Rees Jones, known for his championship-level design, added: “Reservation is different from any other hole. Each hole tells its own story, but the course remains unified, balancing playability with the rigor required for tournament games.”
