NBA Insider reported last week that the Philadelphia 76ers may be considering a salary deal involving Andre Drummond and/or Kelly Oubre Jr.

Shortly after the report surfaced, 76 fans on social media urged the team to trade OUBRE. It’s also months later, the 6-foot-8 wing has earned his $8.4 million choice for the upcoming season.
According to Ky Carlin of Sixers Wire, in response to social media trade rumors and criticism from fans, Oubre reportedly targeted the Sixers fans in an Instagram comment.
“I love Philadelphia, but love doesn’t seem to be rewarded,” Aubrey wrote. “What happened to this place? For those who say I’m trash, because my 3% drops.

“I (left hand)’s thumb and little finger were playing on finger surgery for three years, but until I put my soul in this s***. This is one thing God can only take from me. Hope to see you soon.
Oubre played in 60 games last season (57 games), with an average of 15.1 points and 6.1 rebounds, with a pro climax of 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 34.6 minutes per game.
Despite being more than 29.3% off the arc, Aubrey remains one of the most reliable scoring wings in Philadelphia. He recorded 30 points in Brooklyn on February 12.
Oubre likes to play for 76ers
In April, Oubre made it clear that he liked playing in Brothers Love City.
“I’m Philadelphia 76er. I’m lucky to be a part of this organization [and] I am in front of you now.
Then he said, he was “making a contract decision day after day, but you know, it’s a business. At the end of the day, I’m glad, I feel like I like to finish what I started, I’m not complete. So, you know, Godspeed.”
Unfortunately for Oubre, the Sixers may be trading to re-sign the Quentin Grimes.
If it weren’t for Oubre, the Sixers might have moved Andre Drummond, who reportedly chose his choice after the team was shopping in early July.
However, according to Tony Jones of Track and Field, a trade deal has never been reached.
Philadelphia must re-sign the Grimes, who signed a two-year, $12 million deal with the free agent New York Knicks after the team failed to bring back breakthrough star forward Guerschon Yabusele.
