Suns are expected to provide Devin Booker’s $150 million in 2 years – Basketball insider

Phoenix Sun is expected to offer Devin Booker a two-year extension worth $150 million in one month.
Booker qualifies for an extension on July 6 and is widely expected to offer an extension, according to alliance insider Marc Stein. The superstar’s defender is currently having three years left in four years with three remaining deals. In the 2029-30 season, the extension will ensure Booker’s assurance.
Phoenix has no secret of how he invests in Booker, which has involved him in the recruitment process of the new head coach. Jordan Ott, an assistant to the Cleveland Cavaliers, was the final hiring after receiving Booker’s blessing.
Kevin Durant’s future, on the other hand, is even more uncertain.
Booker averaged 25.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists in 75 games this season, less than 75 games away. He has only scored 33.2% of his three-pointers since the 2018-19 season.
The 28-year-old has spent the entire NBA season with the Suns.
How will the Suns re-plant around Booker?
This is a million dollar issue. The answer is largely in the fact that Phoenix’s rate of return can be purified in the Durant trade.
It is expected that Phoenix City will pursue the capital counter draft to a certain extent. Over the past few seasons, all draft picks have surrendered to build a failed super team, which is a key factor. Naturally, salary is needed to facilitate transactions, and whether the team looks young or have established stars is worth looking forward to.
There is some speculation about a deal in Carl-Anthony Town, but recent reports suggest the Sun is not interested. Booker and Town were Kentucky teammates during the 2014-15 season. Town was the Minnesota Timberwolves’ first overall draft pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, while Booker was selected as No. 13 by the Suns.
Another part of the answer also comes down to Bradley Beal’s willingness to give up on his untrade clause. He was reluctant to do so in the summer. Additionally, the Suns seem ready to start the season with him.
A big tip is provided in the coach search. Those interviewed for head coaching positions were reportedly asked how to use Bill.
Other reports also indicate priorities for getting the Suns during the offseason.
