2024-25 Data: 19.4 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.4 SPG, 0.6 BPG, 48.4% FG, 33.3% 3P in 29 matches
Dylan Harper ranked 2nd for the Spurs with an odds of 83.8%. Harper was described by a scout as “Cade-lite” because of his vision, calmness and size at the leading defender.
But, Hoopshype’s Michael Scotto reported that the Sixers had been engaged to San Antonio and could move to No. 2 Choose, assuming they want Harper.
If the Spurs keep the draft pick, they might think Harper can be the glue in the “clutch” lineup of Fox, Castle and Waimby, his secondary game and strong frames earned high scores.
Harper’s ability to get into his position makes the team think he will immediately play an impact role. Although not considered a natural general initiator, his maturity and skills have put him in the top 2.
“He is a large guard who can create for others and is not afraid of this important moment,” said a Western Conference director.
