Abu Dhabi Open: Sonai Kartar loses 10th match in a row as she loses to Sara Belek in quarterfinals

British number two Sonai Kartar lost her 10th match in a row when she lost 6-0 6-2 to Sara Bellec in the quarter-finals of the Abu Dhabi Open.

Kartar lost the first set in 22 minutes and did not hold serve until the sixth service game.

After starting in the middle of the second set, she broke the Czech to narrow the point difference to 4-2, but was broken again soon after.

Bejelek, who is ranked 40 spots below world No. 61 Kartal, grabbed her first match point and won at the Zayed Sports City International Tennis Center.
