The top earners tracking this season are fascinating on this competitive track where PGA Tour veterans over 50 are still fighting for glory.

Let’s see which champion tour legends ruled 2025 with the most prize money.

Champions Journey 2025’s Top Prize Money Earner:

1. Miguel Angel Jimenez – $2,871,638

The Spaniard is not yet at Scottie Scheffler’s level, but the four wins of the 18-game Championship Tour are impressive. Thanks to a third in June, thanks to the Caulig Company Championship ($525,000) and the Chief Charity Classic ($300,000), while finishing third in the U.S. Senior Championship ($256,867). He ranks number one, which always helps.

2. StewartCink – $1,991,382

The 2009 Open champion had only one win this season, the Insperity Invitational in April ($450,000), but he was second on the roster due to his relentless consistency. Cink finished second in his last two games and overall finished eight top six in 2025. He ranked in the top 15 in 12 of the 13 games.

3. Steven Alker – $1,937,430

Compared to some household names on this list, the 54-year-old Kiwi has a modest career, but has lived since he was 50, winning the championship tour list in 2022 and 2024.

He has won 14 top 25 in 15 games this year, an early victory at Cologuard Classic in March. Alker also won the runner-up twice.

4. PadraigHarrington – $1,828,426

Harrington quickly won three majors on his PGA Tour Day and now he has three seniors.

There was a spell for two men when the two held the U.S. Senior Open champion and Sunningdale’s ISPS Handa Open this summer. The Irish also finished second in the Senior PGA Championship. He almost achieved $2 million in 11 games.

5. Angel Cabrera – $1,600,092

Cabrera, the 2007 U.S. Open and 2009 Masters champion, has experienced a turbulent period since then and was sentenced to 30 months in jail between 2021 and 2023. Since then, his life and golf career have been back on track and enjoyed an amazing seven days when he won a back-to-back Grand Slam in May when his life and senior Grand Slam events: the region’s traditional and senior PGA championship. He is a three-time champion at this level this year.

6. ErnieEls – $1,568,043

The South African legend kicked off the season by winning the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in January at Huaalalai, but it remains his only win so far this year.

Els won three championships at this level in 2024, capturing his first senior major and adding 2025 revenue with another six top five.

7. Steve Allan – $1,412,040

The 51-year-old Australia is another player on this list, with fewer icons than the surrounding ones. Allan won only once in his career DP World Tour (1998), but he has three wins on the Seniors Tour this season, including his last three games: Dick’s Open and Boeing Classics.

8. ThomasBjorn – $1,348,749

Bjorn is one of three captains of the European Ryder Cup captain in this year’s Championship Tour.

Dane won 15 times on the DP World Tour and he won his first championship victory when he landed on the June U.S. Home Insurance Championship vs. Event with Darren Clarke. He also has two second-place finishes in the Grand Slam: the Senior PGA Championship and the ISPS Handa Senior Open.

9. DarrenClarke – $1,032,957

2011 Open champion Clarke teamed up with Bjorn to win the U.S. Home Insurance Championship with four shots, winning $300,000. He added a few thirds, finishing just outside the top 25 in 16 games.
