Inter joins Spike Lee for the pre-club World Cup short film

Back in March, legendary filmmaker Spike Lee found out in San Siro that he competed in the International Champions League against Feyenoord as a guest of the club.
Now, a few months later “Do the right thing” and “Malcolm X” The director has officially worked with Nerazzurri to produce a short film in collaboration with the club – released during Inter’s 2025 FIFA Club World Cup match.
The film serves as a launch of the new international global identity declaration, “My Name Is My Story,” which aims to introduce the club to a wider, international and more diverse audience.
In just three minutes, this brief classic Spike Lee tells a story with the rich history of Inter. It shows the club’s iconic moments and players – Ronaldo Nazário, Javier Zanetti, Giuseppe Meazza, and even the cult hero Adriano, who appeared through his famous Pro Evolution Evolution Evolution Evolution Soccer character.
Lee also talked about the pioneering start of the international world – highlighting how the club responded to early league restrictions on foreign players. From that provocation, Intermit continued to build a legacy as a global power, with both male and female players representing cultures from around the world.
Lee said in the video: “The club is named for everyone – for people in Milan and around the world, around and far away.” He added: “We are brothers and sisters of the world.”
