James Murphy of RG.org: Trade rumors involve Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha and goalkeeper Joonas Korpisalo, and forward Casey Mittelstadt appears to be joining them, according to an NHL executive.
An NHL executive recently told RG: “I don’t know how many rumors he has, but I’ve been hearing that Mittelstadt might take action again.” It’s generally believed that when they trade for him, he’s not their primary target; Zellers and second-round draft picks. ”
He heard the same thing when he was acquired. The Bruins have been targeting William Zellers and hope to reclaim their prospects and draft picks, executives added. Mittelstadt may have more value later this season, so they may wait until the trade deadline. He has two years left in his deal, at $5.7 million.

Goalkeeper Keith Kinkaid still hopes to find a contract next season
George Richards from NHL.com: Last season, goalkeeper Keith Kinkaid played with ECHL’s Savannah, a branch of the Florida Panthers. The 36-year-old doesn’t have a contract for this season, but still wants to get one.
“Now, I just want to keep playing. We’ll see what happens,” Kincaid said. “It’s a great opportunity to show that I still have it. My body is staying well. I’m 36 years old, but I just want to extend my career because once it’s done, it’s done. It gives me the chance to keep playing to show the gas I still have in the tank. It’s been a tough few years, but I hope someone calls, I can call, and I can play again in this season.
“Any opportunity is good for me.”
