James Harden pays tribute to the court unveils during its trip to China

During a 2025 tour with Adidas in China, experienced NBA guard James Harden was surprised by the outdoor basketball court in Guangzhou and possessed a huge mural of the former MVP himself.

According to the Los Angeles Clippers, designer Yin chose the court-designed UNO Tour Imager, with the tour’s slogan “No one on one sideline.”
The slogan also pays tribute to Harden’s first jersey number. The court unveiled in the rain, and Harden seemed confused as officials removed the tarpaulin covered.

“Thank you guys. I know it’s raining, you guys are here to support me, I love you so much,” Harden told hundreds of fans who attended the conference after the reveal.
A few days ago, thousands of people headed to Guangzhou City Shopping Center and saw Harden signing his signature Adidas sneakers with their jerseys.
“You guys will never stop surpriseing me, and it feels like the first time every time…I just hope you know that love is paid off.”
Harden has been traveling in China since 2019
Harden has been touring China since 2019 to celebrate the latest release of his iconic Adidas shoes.
During his 2023 visit, Harden played for the Philadelphia 76ers, calling for Daryl Morey, president of basketball operations, before trading to the Clippers.
“Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be part of the organization he is involved in,” Harden said in Adidas media. “Let me say it again: Daryl Morey is a liar, and I will never be part of the organization he is involved in.”
Harden’s teammate Kawhi Leonard is also expected to stop in China on his Asian tour, with reports that Portland Trail Blazers rookie Yang Hansen will be joined.
Harden re-signs with the Clippers in a two-year, $81.5 million deal
In June, Harden re-signed a two-year, $81.5 million contract with the Clippers, after lowering the player option by another $36.3 million, downgrading the $36.3 million option from his last deal.
His new deal comes with 2026-27 player options, worth $42.31 million and is partially guaranteed. It was fully guaranteed on July 11, 2026. The contract also includes a 15% trade bonus.
Harden turned 36 on August 26, averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists last season, earning all-NBA three-team honors after 79 appearances by the Clippers.
On March 5, Los Angeles beat the Detroit Pistons 123-115 at home, he scored a season-high 50 points (58.3%) in 24 innings (58.3%), while 13 innings (46.2%) from 3 Point Territory.
