US Open 2025: Daniil Medvedev

His close friend Andrey Rublev said Daniil Medvedev should be able to open up emotionally after his American antics (if he wants to).
Former world No. 1 Medvedev cut a desperate and frustrated number in the first round failure of France’s Benjamin Bonzi, leading to concerns about his mental state.
The 29-year-old Russian was considered unjust injustice in the face of the third set, causing him to incite the crazy New York crowd and shout at the chairman referee.
After finally losing a chaotic game in the fifth set of decision, Medvedev brutally destroyed the racket and sat in a chair for a few minutes in frustration.
Medvedev’s behavior led to six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker who advised players to “seek professional help.”
When asked if he would say the same thing to his friends, Rublef said: “I don’t know – if he wants to change and needs help him, there are a lot of other friends and family that will help him.
“But it’s his life and the decision he needs to make. Only he knows what’s going on.”
