In the Life of PGA Hero Michael Block: Net Worth, Wife, Equipment, etc.

Club Pro Michael Block made a sensation at the 2023 PGA Championship in Oak Hill, New York, briefly eclipsed in the final round.
Block, McIlroy, played alongside him, famously slamming a 7-iron in Sunday's closed round, becoming the most famous club professional on the planet.
The PGA professionals are back this week with another major. Here, we look at his life and his times.
born? Block was born in Nevada on 15/6/76 and is therefore eligible for seniors within a few years. He grew up in Iowa and St. Louis and played puberty golf in Bellerive, home to two PGAs and one U.S. Open. Before earning a degree in golf course management from San Diego Golf College, he participated in golf at Mississippi and Missouri-St. Louis University.
Rotate professional? He served as an assistant for six years from 1998-2004 before becoming head of Arroya Trabuco, California. He qualified for the U.S. Open at Oakmont in 2007, but he wouldn't compete in his first PGA Championship until 2014 – this year will be his seventh game in the game.
The first winner? His first professional victory was listed as the 2001 California Open. His efforts will win $4,500 – in recent times, he has won the Southern California PGA championship four times since 2017 and has played in two PGA Cup teams.
Married? Block married Val, and they have two children Dylan and Ethan.
interest? Stay away from golf, these are listed as family, skiing, fishing and tennis.
income? It's hard to specify how much money you have, but his biggest payday was on the 2023 PGA, when he famously made $288,000 for his 15th place. He played six games on the PGA Tour that season and missed five of them.
device? Block is now famously playing Taylormade, due to playing in the PGA two years ago while playing with Rory McIlroy in the final round. The club he poured into with him was the Taylormade Tour Prefered MC 7-EROIR, which he said was awarded $50,000. He has “Why not?” printed on his Taylormade ball.

The biggest achievement? He enjoyed a great career in Oak Hill, but when he entered the top 15 at the age of 46, “Blockie” was within everyone's range. This is the highest score for a club professional in decades, and he did it with his own style. Think tin cups meet something more ridiculous.
