When Joaquin Niemann won his third LIV golf title in six events on Sunday, he and his entourage were given a unique place to celebrate the toast on Mexican club De Golf Chapultepec: Liv Golf Golf's Mexico City Team Villas.
The 600-square-foot villa is personalized and designed as a designated private space for players to host family and friends, meet with existing and potential sponsors and partners for team meetings and movie content. Together, the villas form a rectangle with 8,000 square feet of shared open courtyard space between them, as well as a dining restaurant and a boutique barista.
“The little villa in Mexico City is amazing,” said Hyflyers GC captain Phil Mickelson. “This is another example of how LIV Golf prioritizes the player experience. It’s a great environment for our team, brand partners, team staff and families.”
Dustin Johnson, Liv Golf's 4aces captain, agreed.
“This week, the villa in Mexico City was a very cool addition,” he said. “It was a great place for us to meet, eat and hang out with the team in the week. Everything was very good – it was private and comfortable and it showed how LIV supports everything that we had the best. It made it easy for us to focus on the game and competition.”
