“I’m not sure it’s a football game”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot defended his side after a dramatic defeat to Newcastle United 3-2, and despite their 2-0 lead to the lead, they didn’t collapse.
The Premier League champion seemed to be in full command in the 46th minute after the opening match of Ryan Gravenberch and Anthony Gordon’s red card against Virgil van Dijk.
But Newcastle couldn’t have caused an extraordinary comeback, with Bruno Guimaraes cutting the deficit in half with a header, and then substitute William Osula seemed to get the final claim by elaborating on the matter.
Newcastle’s only recognized center forward was in the midst of an exile by Alexander Isak as the star forward tried to force a move to Liverpool, seducing the equalizer home two minutes after normal time.
In the penultimate minute of the 11-minute downtime, an already fascinating story took a final turn when 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha lost a stunning Liverpool title on her 17th birthday at Liverpool.
However, despite the incredible drama released in a raucous St James Park, Slot has a strange description of his witness.
“I’m not quite sure this is today’s football game,” Slot told Sky Sports. “This is the kit after the set, which lasts for a long time.
“We didn’t collapse and stood strong. We didn’t do well on the ball. I don’t think there were so many kickoffs.”
Among the wonderful winners of Ngumoha, Slot added: “This is a 16-year-old. Rio can do it well at his age.
“I do hear people say in the locker room that he would have had the first time touching, but he was so confident. He was a very good finisher for his age.”
