Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca became the host champion at the Miami Open in Itau on Thursday, with the #NextGenATP star next facing top seed Carlos Alcaraz.

At 17, Moise Kouame became Miami’s youngest tournament champion and the youngest ATP Masters 1000 winner since Rafael Nadal in Hamburg in 2003.
