“Hope all of these things work”

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero is eligible for a five-year, $247 million contract extension, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Paolo Banchero earns $34.87 million in NBA career

The 22-year-old Banchero will enter his four-year, the final season of the $50.15 million rookie deal. This means that in the 2024-25 season, third-year career income was $34.87 million.

“I don't know men. When I signed a rookie, I was in my mind [contract],” Banchero told The Landscape in a recent interview. “So, I really didn’t think about it much. That's why I'm brought me back now. I haven't really said this number or I don't even know what the number is or what it will be.

“But if I could sign with the team and lock in the future, it was a blessing and hopefully all of this would be solved. It's the goal of every young player to enter this league, build yourself early, get a second contract. So when the time comes, I'm sure, we're sure, everything we don't know. I don't know. They say more money.

The defending NBA champion Boston Celtics won the first playoff series against the Magic after advancing to the Eastern League semi-finals by 120-89 in Game 5 on April 29.

Magic have not won the playoff series since 2010

The Magic have not won the playoff series since coaches Dwight Howard, Vince Carter and Stan Van Gundy led them to the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals.

“It's weird. Last night I was just sitting watching the playoffs and I kept thinking I was going to bed because I had a game,” Banchero said in the Magician's practice facility on May 1.

“That's what I think. I kept thinking, 'I have to go to bed, drink my electrolytes, prepare for the game.” And then I thought, “We really don't have a game.” …It's sucked, because this one [is] The second one [time] You're going out in the first round. ”

In 46 games this season, Banchero has a career high of 25.9 points and 7.5 rebounds, with 4.8 assists and 34.4 minutes per game. The All-Star Wing also shot 45.2% from the field, 32% from three-pointers, and 72.7% from the free throw line.
