Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten turned the tide in their Lexus ATP showdown with Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool to win the championship match at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open on Friday.
Third seeds Heliovara and Patten flawlessly claimed the ATP 500 title by defeating the top-seeded defending champions 6-3, 6-3 in Doha. They are also champions of Adelaide, becoming just the second team to win multiple titles this season, joining Montpellier and Dallas champions Theo Arribach and Albano Olivetti.

After losing their first four games against Cash and Glasspool, Heliovara and Patten have now reduced the deficit to 2-4 in the Lexus ATP Head2Head Series. They also defeated the top seed in the ATP Masters 1000 final in Paris in October.
“We ended 2025 strong and to keep that going in 2026, it’s been a dream for us for six months,” said Heliovaara, who won his first Nitto ATP Finals trophy with Patten in November. “It’s always a pleasure to play football with Henry. My family is in Doha this week – my wife and two kids – so it’s always special to travel with them.”
According to Infosys ATP statistics, Heliovala and Patten saved all seven break points in the 69-minute final. They have now moved up eight spots to No. 5 in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Team Rankings, continuing their strong start to the season.
