Graham Potter admits “I need to do better” as Chelsea’s pressure on West Ham boss increases

West Ham boss Graham Potter admitted he “need to do better” as he put pressure on his pressure at home 5-1 tonight.
Porter’s side lost 3-0 last weekend at Sunderland, but arguably worse at London Stadium, succumbing on defensive end after an early strike leading Lucas Paqueta.
Chelsea, despite seeing Cole Palmer disappear after suffering a groin injury during warm-up, fought back in Joao Pedro, then scored by Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caideo and Trevoh Chalobah turned the game around.
Home fans show their frustration by leaving early or booing, while Porter admits he wants to turn things around.
He said: “I am the head coach, I am responsible for the team, the team is not doing well, and the result is not what we want. We need to get more players from the players, and that’s my job.
“It’s a collective [responsibility]. Pointing at the finger and blaming people, we all have to do better. No one threw anyone here. ”
Porter is abused by West Ham fans
After the game, Potter headed to the locker room and was abused by home fans. He added: “I can’t control what people say or do, everyone has the right to say something, I have to do better, we have to do better.
“You’ve been under pressure all the time. I know my responsibilities, I know what the game is like.”
Porter added at Sky Sports: “It was a tough night for us. Very disappointed with the results. Through the goal way, we admit it after we started the game. It’s too cheap, and I think against a top team, we have to say that it’s impossible to recognize the goal the way we have.
“As I said, goals change the game. Goals affect too much, and when they are cheap, like we give away, we have to do better. Until you solve this problem, in the Premier League, it’s always difficult, especially against top teams. We have to get a lot of improvements.
“This becomes difficult when you acknowledge your goals the way we do. The same is true for their timing. Fined again, but throughout the game you put yourself in a position that you can pass if you open too much and press too much. But at the same time, we are at home and we need to create some stress and try to step on the front foot and make some mistakes, so it was a tough night for us. ”
Bowen gets angry after a crushing defeat
Captain Jarrod Bowen was asked about his feelings after the race and layoffs.
“I think you might imagine. Smoke. Disappointing. Behind having eight goals in two games, all the emotions got no point of view,” he said.
“I think we put ourselves in a very good position at 1-0 and then I think the goal is really cheap. We didn’t really get them working for these three jobs from the fixtures, we’ve been proud of ourselves over the years, and we’ve been pride in ourselves for a few more finishes in the six-yard box. We’ve paid the objection in any opposition and we’ve already defied the Sunderland and here last week and here.
Estevao shines for Chelsea
Although West Ham is undoubtedly, Chelsea has performed well, despite being scored by the host’s opening goal, Estevao Willian, 18, stood out among Palmer’s replacements.
Bruce owner Enzo Maresca said: “He needs to adapt, he needs to make many mistakes to understand how different the Premier League is in Brazil. We admit that he needs to understand after he plays the clips, but he is an amazing player.”
On Palmer, Maresca suggested that it wasn’t serious, adding: “He’s not 100% over the last four to five days. In the warm-up, he felt something that we didn’t want to risk getting worse.”
