Billie Jean King Cup 2025: Katie Boulter, Sonay Kartal, Jodie Burrage and Fran Jones lead team bid for first championship

The UK’s No. 2 Katie Boulter appeared in the seventh year of the BJK Cup, bringing some much-needed experience to Anne Keothavong.
In April qualifying, she won a singles match against Germany but lost in a singles match against the Netherlands, and then she teamed up with Jodie Burrage to win the decisive doubles match and won the UK final.
However, for Boult, this is the 2025 mixture.
She missed some tournaments early this year, suffered a foot injury, and then won the Virgin Clay Championship at the WTA 125 event in Paris.
The second round failure was part of a tough pasture season in the first Queens event in 52, so Boulter abandoned her two-year British rule to become Raducanu.
She won her fourth professional victory among the top 10 players – a win over Paula Badosa in the first round at Wimbledon – but lost to lucky loser Lucky Loser Solana Sierra in the next round.
Boulter didn’t make the second round in any of the four Grand Slams, and he admitted at Wimbledon that her “moment may not come.”
But, Burt often stressed that she loves to compete for her country and that the BJK Cup has achieved her best performance in her.
