Golf’s World Priority debuts as Spider-Man in live coverage of the 153rd Open – Golf News

On the world-first golf course, Spider-Man technology will bring millions of TV viewers closer to the world’s best golfers than ever.road Open in Royal Portrush.

The four-point wire camera system will provide an immersive gaming experience for anyone in live golf television production.

Pause 18Th Green, spectacular aerial view and unique angles will bring the natural ups and downs of the hole and the short shots around the greens to life before being crowned the champion of the year on Sunday, July 20, capturing the greatest walk in the golf ball.

During the approach shooting, it will be in the rest position behind the 18th green.

It has been widely used in television coverage of other major sports, including football, rugby and cricket in the UK, and will complement existing technologies including aircraft cameras, air drones, bunkers-Cameras and Toptracer, launched in recent years by R&A and European Tours to enhance the live broadcasts of wish fans.

The Open offers 48 hours of key coverage in the four-round championship, making it the longest single feed on a golf course, delivering world-class action through global broadcast partners, including Sky Sports in the UK and NBC in the US.

Apart from the main broadcasts, R&A and European Tours have partnered with IMG to expand the open digital footprint to provide more ways than ever for fans to follow and interact with champions through Theopen.com, R&A TV and the official mobile app.

Supplementary live content includes four dedicated feature groups every day, a unique par 3 channel capturing breathtaking 16Th Hall, Calamity Corner, and behind-the-scenes show, “With HSBC” aired in practice day and the first two rounds of the championship.

R&A TV will also allow viewers to watch multiple streams simultaneously, including featured groups and PAR 3 channels, while Open Radio also provides fans around the world with over 50 hours of real-time audio coverage.

Theopen.com’s new homepage will be faster and easier to access real-time updates throughout the championship, as well as a new weather integration that delivers the latest forecasts directly from Portrush.
