Zimbali Lakes Resort in South Africa has selected club cars to provide golf teams to enhance the membership and guest experience.
The prestigious resort recently opened an 18-hole Ernie Els signature course and complemented its beach club, sports club and a wide variety of luxury homes, spanning 300 hectares of land and wetlands 25 miles north of Durban.
Delivered by South Africa’s official club car distributor Afgri, 50 HI-Spec Tempo golf carts are installed with premium features such as comfortable seats and lithium-ion batteries.
These cars are equipped with VISAGE, the industry-leading fleet management technology, and also provide golfers with hole-by-hole information and in-car entertainment.

Zimbali Lakes Resort, along with three other top golf venues in South Africa, chose club cars as golf car suppliers. The Ruimsig Country Club in the suburb of Johannesburg switched from rival brands, while the Cotswolds Downs Golf and Countrate in the Western Cape, on the Arabella Hotel Golf & Spa and another venue near Durban, reaffirmed their loyalty to the club’s cars.
