Yas Links Abu Dhabi has launched a new era of coaching and player development by launching an upgraded, state-of-the-art training facility – positioning YAS Links Golf Academy as one of the most advanced academies in the Middle East.
This new chapter sees two cutting-edge swing studios that include high score simulators, a dedicated indoor putter studio and climate-controlled indoor teaching spaces – uninterrupted, year-round coaching and player development even in the hot summer months.
The key highlight of the upgrade is the new partnership with Platform Golf, a global leader in immersive, performance-driven technology. YAS Link became the first academy in the region, using groundbreaking technology from platform golf to fully blend real-world slopes, lies and conditions into the simulator golf experience. Trusted by the world's top coaching and elite programs, the integration of platform golf marks an important step in improving year-round training, coaching and player development at Yas Links.
Additionally, the integrated swing catalyst pressure plate measures balance and movement during the swing, giving coaches and players access to real-time performance data. Each studio is equipped with top-notch training tools including a track and field start monitor, a swing catalyst system, video analysis technology and complete simulator features – both a serious coach and an appealing hands-on experience.
The new Putting Studio also launched Sam Puttlab, one of the most advanced putting analysis systems on the market, supporting the Academy’s new putting course.
The restart is part of the broader investment plan of YAS Link to improve the bar for coaching and player experience. The Academy will also launch new advanced course packages for experienced golfers and seeking high-performance environments, as well as those looking to try out the game for the first time in a comfortable space.

With YAS Links expanding its coaching team (the largest in club history), it has been relaunched, which includes five golf professionals, including four full-time. Engagement is already on the rise, with more than 140 different juniors already participating in this year’s S3 match, and the new lady’s social meeting helps to grow the competition at the community level.

The launch of the new academy is also a time when the club not only achieved strong business growth, but also played a leading role in increasing competitions. This also marks the first phase of the wider upgrade series as Viya Golf Academy reboots at the new Viya Golf Performance Academy – a key introduction identity designed to provide world-class coaching and performance-driven programming.
In 2024, the club's membership grew 49% year-on-year, coaching courses rose 101%, and continued to improve by 26% during the competition, both reflecting the interest in golf in the region, and Yas Links' reputation as one of the most dynamic golf courses in the UAE.
