Golf Business News – Sponsor Liv Golf's Torque GC Team

Ping announced that it is the Torque GC team sponsoring Liv Golf, captained by longtime Ping Tour chief of staff Joaquin Niemann.
The All-Latin American team consists of Neman (Chile), Mito Pereira (Chile), Sebastian Munoz (Colombia) and Carlos Ortiz (Mexico), and all four players will play with Ping Clubs, Ping clubs, wear Ping branded headwear and bring Ping Staff Bags, and carry PING staff bags with you as part of the sponsor.
Sponsorship officially begins this week with LIV Golf Mexico City, which will be held at the De Golf Chapultepec Club from April 25 to 27.
“All four torque GC team members use PING devices before turning to professionals and continue to do so today,” said John K Solheim, CEO and President of PING. “We have had strong relationships with everyone throughout our careers. They are good friends and great competitors. We look forward to their success as a team and individual as they help raise Ping's awareness of golfers around the world.”
Niemann, the captain, is currently the highest-ranked player in the league, has won four individual victories since joining the track in 2022, including two of the first four games of the season. He also won the Asian Tour at Saudi International late last year, claiming to win the title and winning the title and difference with Ping's new G440 driver.
“My first group of flat clubs was one of their junior clubs and since then, my ping club has been in my bag,” Neiman said. “They are an engineering company that puts product performance in all aspects. The equipment and services provided by their travel representatives gave our team a weekly confidence to go out and compete for the podium. Over the years, Munoz, Ortiz and Pereira have 25 global wins in them while using PING devices. Since its inception in 2023, Torque GC has won four team events.
